Women of Steel
The BMI recognizes the need to tell the story of Baltimore steelworkers and help carry their legacy forward. The Bethlehem Steel Legacy Project, in partnership with Tradepoint Atlantic , makes it possible to do that in a very meaningful way. The BMI is working with the communities of Sparrows Point to help tell this remarkable account of hard work and innovation. Intensive community outreach and programs continue to take place to develop the Bethlehem Steel collection and create the exhibition which is planned to open in 2021.
