Get Involved

Every day, Baltimore City Public Schools’ Food and Nutrition Services employees prepare and distribute more than 88,000 meals to students at no cost. However, the meals FNS staff provide do not entirely combat food insecurity in our city.

Please consider a gift to the Baltimore Museum of Industry in support of Food For Thought. This project helps to raise awareness about food insecurity in Baltimore by honoring the frontline food workers in Baltimore City Public Schools who are committed to making a difference. Your support makes it possible for the museum to continue to shine a spotlight on these workers.

Keep an eye out for more information about the Food For Thought exhibition opening in the fall 2022 at two locations: the Baltimore Museum of Industry in South Baltimore and the Baltimore City Public Schools’ district office on North Avenue And a series of program and service events is currently under development.
