Catoctin Furnace Village Tour

Enjoy a one hour in-person tour of the historic industrial complex of Catoctin Furnace Village designed specifically for BMI members.
The tour will include stops at the Isabella Furnace Stack ruins, the Ironmaster’s Mansion ruins, the site of the quarters for enslaved workers (no longer standing) a hike along the African American Cemetery Trail and visits to the newly opened Museum of the Ironworker and the historic Collier’s Log House.
Members are encouraged to stay after the tour to explore the grounds on their own. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather, as the tour will be largely outdoors. Masks are required in indoor spaces.
Tickets for this special behind-the-scenes opportunity are $10 per person. This tour is open to members only.
