May 20 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeIndustry Social Club presented by PNC Bank continues! Join us on Wednesday, May 20 for a discussion on, Sustainability.
Sustainability is more than a long-term goal. It is about the everyday work of protecting and restoring the natural systems that support healthy communities. From clean waterways and urban tree canopies to wildlife conservation and environmental education, sustainability plays a critical role in how Baltimore responds to climate challenges and creates a healthier future.
This edition of Industry Social Club invites environmental leaders, advocates, and community members to explore how hands-on stewardship is making an impact across the city. Through an interactive conversation, we will discuss the importance of clean water, green spaces, biodiversity, and public engagement in building a more resilient Baltimore.
Industry Social Club is a free, after-hours program for local professionals, creatives, and influencers in various industries to cultivate connections that drive success. Topics examine contemporary trends in industry, both locally and nationally. The series explores industries as diverse as fashion and textiles, hospitality, healthcare, and LGBTQIA+ in the workforce, embracing a diverse spectrum of talents and backgrounds. Austin Lewis
I have been in the Financial Services Industry for 10 years, right out of graduating from Salisbury University in 2014. That same year I also joined the Army National Guard and remain in the service today. In the aftermath of COVID I decided to take my expertise in the insurance industry and use it as a vehicle to fund change in my part of the Chesapeake Bay (Essex, MD). This was born out of a desire to have a clean and safe body of water for me and my two children and a feeling of urgency to change how businesses interact with our society and environment.
