WORKIN’ IT: STORIES ABOUT MAKING A LIVING IN BALTIMORE
Workin’ It: Stories about Making a Living in Baltimore returns May 16! Join the Stoop Storytelling Series and the BMI for an evening of true, personal tales exploring the past, present, and future of work in our city. The evening includes live music and gallery tours beginning at 7pm, storytelling starts at 8pm. Food and drink will be available for sale.  This program is made possible by a gift from Bob Patterson.

BMI Community Day
We’re kicking off the 11th season of the BMI Farmers Market with a full day of happenings and FREE museum admission! Enjoy hands-on activities for kids as well as local produce, breads, meat & eggs, ready-to-eat goods, artisan items and more from 9am-1pm. From 10am-4pm free museum admission will include an author talk with Justin Nordstrom on his book “Aunt Sammy’s Radio Recipes” (11am-12:30pm). PLUS free onsite parking!

Senior museum educator Jack Burkert will recount the history of Sparrows Point: the story of Bethlehem Steel, the people of “the Point,” and the legacy of the steel industry in this region.
