DISTILLERY SHOWCASE  The Maryland Distillers Guild (MDG) presents Spirits of Maryland: Baltimore, showcasing the area’s distilleries and histories as you sample their locally-crafted spirits. The event will feature over ten Maryland distilleries, live music, and light appetizers. Admission includes samples from attending distilleries, a signature MDG glass, and full access to the museum.

STARS & STRIPES  Our friends from the Star-Spangled Banner Flag House visit the BMI Farmers’ Market and bring a hands-on activity in honor of the upcoming holiday.

INDEPENDENCE DAY  Celebrate July 4th with the best view of fireworks in the city and a family-friendly event. Food and drink for sale or bring a picnic. Ticket includes parking for one car and admission for all passengers.

MARK SUPIK & CO. WOODTURNING & MONUMENT CITY BREWING TOURS  You’re invited behind the scenes with the BMI! Head over to Highlandtown for demonstrations at Mark Supik & Co. Woodturning. Then step next door to tour the new facilities at Monument City Brewing.

SUNRISE YOGA  Watch the sunrise over Baltimore’s Inner Harbor in a free yoga class hosted by the Baltimore Museum of Industry. Held as part of his “Peace Across America” tour, experienced instructor Sid McNairy welcomes yoga practitioners of all levels. After the class, sample local flavors at the BMI Farmers’ Market.

THE INDUSTRIAL VALLEY: TWO CENTURIES OF MANUFACTURING ALONG THE JONES FALLS  Nathan Dennies of the Greater Hampden Heritage Alliance will discuss the grist mills of the late 18th century, textile mills in the 19th and 20th centuries, and the lighter manufacturers that took their place.
