The Baltimore Museum of Industry [BMI] seeks a highly motivated and energetic development professional to join its staff. Primary responsibilities include grant writing in the foundation, corporate, and government funding communities. Additional responsibilities include grant funding research and assisting in other areas of BMI’s development activities; e.g. events, donor cultivation, annual fund, donor database, etc.
Excellent writing skills and a successful grant writing record are required. Solid computer skills in an MS Office environment and ability to learn and use the institution-wide Altru database are required. Undergraduate degree in English, history, or comparable field required, and 3-5 years grant writing experience in a non-profit development program.
