- Study the rules for your Challenge. The individual Challenge Guides give important information which must be followed if your team is to achieve the best results.
- Recruit Coaches for your team (adult advisors and helpers). Teachers, librarians, and parents with engineering knowledge are all good resources.
- Coaches should attend the workshops for your Challenge. The workshops offer a great opportunity for coaches and teachers to learn more about the Engineering Challenges™ You can speak with the engineers who run each Challenge, see demonstrations and examples of the projects, and get hands-on advice.
