Chairman and Chief Executive Officer 1st Mariner Bancorp Edwin F. Hale, Sr., 60, is chairman and chief executive officer of 1st Mariner Bancorp. He is a real estate developer, working on numerous properties including Canton Crossing, a $500,000,000 project located at the intersection of Among many honors, Hale has been named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and Baltimore Business Journal’s Businessman of the Year, and is the recipient of numerous charitable awards.
