The BMI offers family fun activities for kids every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Call Diane Clifford at 410.727.4808 x113 for additional details.     

  

MAY

 

Weekend Activities:  Paper Cup Hand Puppets. See how you can transform an everyday paper cup into a puppet. Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m.to 3:00 p.m. Activity included with general admission.  For more information call Diane Clifford at 410-727-4808 ext. 113.

 

Wee Workers Toddler Program!  Programs include stories, songs, crafts, and gallery tours for toddlers and their families.  Recommended for ages 2 – 5 with adult supervision. Pre-registration is required.

 

Cost:

$5.00 for adults

    Bring your family to the BMI to make soap for mom with Biggs and Featherbelle Body Care. Fun soaps, colorful soaps, smelling soaps; they have the perfect soap for any mom!     The BMI celebrates the Industrial spirit of Maryland with the 2008 William Donald Schaefer Industrialist of the Year Awards.  This year's honoree, Edwin F. Hale Sr., is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 1st Mariner Bancorp.  Mr. Hale is recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to the businesses and people of his community.  For tickets and sponsorship information contact 410-727-4808 ext. 133.

     

    June 14: Making Weathervanes

    FREE with general admission | FREE for children 4 and under

    11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

     

    Make your dad the perfect Father's Day gift, a weathervane, because every dad needs to know the weather!  Reservations are recommended.

     

    June 17: Concert Under the Stars with 1 East Guitar Quartet

    $10.00 general public| $6.00 students and seniors| FREE for members

    6:00 p.m.

    July 14-18: GREEN KIDS' SUMMER CAMP

    $175.00 for non-members| $160.00 for museum members

    8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

     

    This eco-focused, fun-filled camp is designed for children ages 8-12.  Campers will participate in experiments, crafts, games, urban beautification projects and field trips, all with a focus on improving the environment.  For additional information contact Lori Finkelstein at 410-727-4808 ext. 146.

     

    July 4 - Fireworks at the BMI

    $40.00 per car|$35.00 member cars|$5.00 per person at gate

    6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
